Wanted to post and alert fellow users of Kenstar products, esp. water purifiers, since I own onee about the poorest type of service from their auth. service centre, Rubicon, in my case.I have taken lifetime AMC for the purifier, however in the past 3 yrs the service guys have not even bothered to call once (from their end) for the routine annual compulsory services.
While signing the service contract, all sorts of promises are made, but once the money is transferred you become just another victim.Till date, in past 3 yrs, I have ended calling the Rubicon guys for the committed annual service and ended up giving my contact details viz. name, contact & address apart from the Problem for which they end up scheduling a service engr.
And, every time the service engr. came, he asked for the Problem faced in the equipment. Mind you the calibre of service engr. sent is very pathetic, they seem more like some roadside boys taken on contract to do door-to-door service.In my case, one of the engr. ended up spilling water on the purifier electronic circuitry, upon question he said that there is no problem with it !!!
The Rubicon call centre (24x7, but you have to maintain your paitence for them to answer) is different from their office, so you effectively cannot escalate any issue you have.Their supervisor are far worse then the service engr. with their proprietor, Mr. Sanjay Jha, being the icing on the cake. He scolds his [helpless] personnel for allowing customer to contact him dirtrectly (purely ignorant of the fact that his supervisors are of no use). Also, adamant that No refund is given.
Highly unporfessional people and gravely regrest my decision to work with such a Company and People.
Have escalated the issue with Kenstar, but they too are busy to revert or action against such errant service providers.
Take care & stay away from such fraudulent operators....
