I bought kenstar Le pure water purifier about 2yrs before and was working very well. The main reasons to buy the product was the looks, features (about 6-7 filters) and price. The purifier works really good. I have tried the purifier many times when the inlet water quality was bad. All the time the purifier worked brilliantly.
Here comes the bad experience -- last month the water outlet flow has stopped; may be because it needs cleaning. I called up kenstar service number provided in their website - redirected many time before getting the complaint registered. Though I received a call back after 2days; the technician never visited my place. I started reminding him; then after about 5-6 times and about 2 weeks he redirected me to another number stating that my apartment location is not covered by him. Since last 2 weeks Im calling daily the new number provided by him and reminding.
They give the standard reply - some spare are out of stock (what has spare parts availability to do with cleaning the purifier?), somebody will call within next 15min, will visit tomorrow etc etc. Ive made at least 20-25 calls in last one month and till this time no effect. Im trying to look out for local service availability as well along with the routine calls to “Pragati Appliances”.
Anyway, I wont recommend this product to anyone only because they cant provide service. If this is the case in a city like Pune, I am sure it will be same or worse in most parts of India. One of my friends is having aqua guard and the service provided is really good.
