I took my Purifier almost 2 yrs back but somehow not convinced that it is the right choice I made.
Pros:
Looked good from design point.
It was told it had 5 stage cleaning/purifying system as against 3 stage in AquaGuard and other contemporaries
Nicely priced(2 yrs back: 3800/-)
Maintenance cost less than Philips/Aquaguard.
Cons:
1.When I inquired the Installation guy about the Quality Check of Purified Water, he was clueless. He said he has no device/test for this and moreover there is no provision from the company to check it.
- There is Green LED that indicates whether Water is OK for consumption. Infact I have always seen it glowing even after 15 months of operation but when I called the Technician he told me Filters are in BAD Shape. Which means we cannot rely on GREEN LED. A big BUG.
3.There is a UV Lamp inside the Filter. It is manufactured by Philips. Even that was about to fuse after 15 months. I was told that I can still carry on the usage and if the UV lamp fuses, the GREEN indicator will STOP and water wont come out from the purifier. But now I can sense water taste deteriorating but still Green LED Glowing in Full Swing. I seriously doubt about the Green LED Feature.
- Water taste not that great. But I must confess I have developed the taste by now.
5.No call from customer care ever after the sales. Not even in the warranty period.ot even for telling that this is the time to change the filters/candles.
To be frank:
These are the things that make me feel that the device is UNRELIABLE. I may be wrong as all my above observations are based on the inputs given to me by the Technician and he may have done it from the Business point of view.
For all those who are planning to take any Water Purifier, I piece of advice:Please make sure the Vendor gives you the assurance that they will check the water quality after installation. Please educate your friends too about this.
