I stay in an independent house. Since the sunlight hits directly on four sides of the house throughout the day, the building gets really hot. It remains hot even at night. I really mean it.Since it became very difficult to sleep due to the heat and the dryness I decided to buy a cooler.
I have heard a lot that the rooms will get wet since the cooler will disperse moisture. Immaterial of all that I decided to try it out.I bought the Kenstar cooler for Rs 3600. The manual says that it can be used in a 10x10 ft room and can contain 12 liters of water. I had been using it for a week now.
I am really happy with it. Might be because of the Bangalore weather or because of the product, my room does not get wet. Though the room does not get “really” cool, it definitely cuts down the heat. Instead of just filling it with water if ice cubes are added, the coolness increases. Every morning I normally keep two plastic containers filled with water in the freezer so that I can use it at night. The fan is really powerful. It also has a feature to swing the air.In a nut shell I am really happy with the Kenstar cooler.Shiju
