I bought Kenstar Air Cooler from Viveks, JP Nagar 2nd Phase, Bangalore. I needed service to be done and they gave me a number to contact 080-39404040. Kenstar website also gives the same number with following additional contact details: SMS: SVC 53030. My attempts to reach them via their customer care email, SMS and landline have all been futile.
The landline number 080-39404040 is virtually unreachable. I made about 30 attempts in the last one week all in vain. Finally a lady called Shoba answered the phone this morning at about 11.05 am but she was not willing to give the contact details of service agents in Bangalore. All that she said was some one will contact me and disconnected the phone. On further investigation, I found out that Kenstar has outsourced servicing to a third party - a company based in Haryana(Marketing, Service & Support):

This company is equally unresponsive as Kenstar. Clearly, both Kenstar and their service provider are, based on my experience, are worst possible companies to deal with when it comes to service. The term "Caveat emptor "(buyer beware) was coined with companies such as these in mind. They are NOT by any means reputable and I would not touch(leave alone buy) their products ever again - even with a 12-foot barge pole. Companies such as these are best forgotten and NEVER to be patronaged ever with one’s hard earned money. They do not deserve even the single star rating that I have given.
