The people at Kenstar either put a lot of thought into designing this machine or borrowed good ideas from other brands.
I thought washing machines needed to be kept in the bathrooms, until I bought the Kenstar. It can be installed any place where there is a sink. I currently use it in my bedroom. It has a pump which forces waste water upwards through the outlet pipe into the sink.
The quality of wash is excellent.
Size is perfect, slim, fits anywhere.
Another great design is the wheels. Brands that have wheels arent stable and tend to rock about; brands that dont have wheels are difficult to move around. With Kenstar, just shift the lever to the left, and the wheels are deployed, move the lever to the right, and the stand is deployed.
In one house I lived in, there were all kinds of objects, including tadpoles in the water. The Kenstar has a mesh in the inlet pipe.
Warranty/service: Kenstar service guys are very polite, very responsive, and very efficient. You phone them, they come within 1 day at the latest.
Price is inexpensive compared to other front-loaders.
Problems: It needs to be more rugged.
If you use a high-foam detergent, the engine gets damaged.
I shifted houses recently, and my Kenstar got knocked around, the inner plastics got cracked, one of the switches got dislodged, though it still works.
You cant turn the program control switch anticlockwise, always clockwise.
Your plug point should be positive on the right, negative on the left.
If I were to buy an electronic again, I would give Kenstar first preference.
