Title : Kenstar Tumbletop
Review : I made a mistake.I should never have traded my IFB for a Kenstar. Let me tell you why. During demo prior to purchase the sales people themselves had little knowledge about the product. Like they said I could safely use high foam soap. Luckily I read the manual.
Then came the installation when after several phonecalls they came just ran a demo and said I should get a plumber to fix it. And they forgot to tell me to keep the outlet hose at a higher level! Then they promised to call up to check how the machine is doing.
I am still waiting after six months. Last week the machine wouldnt rinse properly, so I called the service center at chennai. They did promptly send a tech. who diagnosed a belt problem but couldn’t do much as he did not carry even basic spare parts. He promised to rectify on day 3 as next day was sunday. Today is day 5 and evening and I am still waiting and my house looks a laundry basket.
I have been ringing up the service station since monday 31st may and all those connected with the machine every one hour and no sight of the service engr.
So much for the after sales service. As for the product well the drum design is a bit crude and is it really 5 kgs? I have my doubts. Well one lives and learns.
