I bought kent grand plus in December 2010 from Sakthi power systems. coimbatore. It worked fine till march 2011 when it suddenly stopped.the service man came and fixed it right, changing no parts as it started working all of a sudden.then in May 2011, stopped working. RO membrane changed.then in July again stopped working.could not diagnose the problem.started working on its own.then in November it stopped working.UV choke burnt and changed .was adviced to install a separate prefilter at 600 rupees.then went for amc at 4500 per year.Changed the RO membrane in Jan 2012.
Meanwhile the top cover had cracked in many places.now in august 2012 again membrane stopped working.also ABS tank cover has cracked in many places.wrote to kent about poor quality.they gave a telephone number of ASM in coimbatore. Contacted him. No response till date.
Don’t ever buy kent products. I regret it.
