Dear Sir
Most dissatisfied with the service of Kent agents in Bangalore.
On our return from Amsterdam we procured a Kent Excell water filter from your agent Bangalore Tele Systems Bangalore vide their invoice no 2098 dt 22/11/11.
During the warranty there was some faults like the filter getting jammed & the filter elements were replaced. after the completion of warranty the dealer on a service call on 25 /02/2013 replaced the following parts:
Carbon block
Carbon filter
Sedimentary filter
R.O. membrane
U V L joints
They billed me with Rs 3950 vide their bill no 1649 dt 25 /02/2013.
The filter again went out of order in may 2013. In spite of repeated telephone calls spread over three days to the service engineer Mr Suresh Kumar he did not come. We then called your other agent Mr D.K waters to send their representative to rectify the filter. The service engineer changed the following
first filter along with body as the same was leaking(non standard body) & he installed a pre filter to remove sand n impurities before water reaches the main filter n one filter element vide their bill no 1127 dt 28/05/2013.
the work was not satisfactory so we called another service agent(as recommended by our neighbor) We called Mr Prabhakaran of M/S Kent Water World
He informed that all the pipes connecting the internal filters n equipment were incorrectly fixed. & he changed the following parts

This was an amount of Rs 3264 vide their receipt no 079 dt 28/06/2013. as the cost of maintenance was increasing n the Membrane had been replaced twice in a span of 5 months, we agreed to an AMC of Rs 5300 vide receipt no 080 dt 28/06/2013.
The service agent came on July & replaced the prefilter element(not covered by AMC & charged us Rs 700 vide receipt no 083 dt 8/7/2013.
We again called the engineer in beg Nov 2013 as the output of water was low he replaced one filter element & advised that the air in the cylinder is low he however shall get it filled on his next call . He requested to take away the membrane filters(2 lying with us replaced earlier) as he wanted to show them to the company to understand reasons for premature failures.
since 22nd Nov morning the prefilter & first filter is leaking & the filter is not giving any output the service engineer Mr Prabhaker confirmed to visit the same day but did not come on 22nd. On 23rd he confirmed that he shall visit us positively & at 4.30 pm confirmed that he is on his way n shall be seeing our filter before 6 PM. Has not visiting us nor is now responding to our phone. The agency was contacted on 24th evening(as we were not getting any response from the technician Mr Prabhakr) & he had promised to send a technician on Monday morning(Sunday being off day).
We are still waiting for the repair man to call us.
Our is not an individual experience with regards to service of Kent Water filter but this sentiment is shared by by almost every owner of Kent filter in Bangalore.
WE would request you to please take up this problem of your customers on priority so that the filter does not get a bad name & loss of sales.
