Buyers Beware, Running cost and total ownership cost of any Kent product is very costly.
I had purchased Kent RO Excel Plus in Aug 2012, believing that high price must be worth for good quality and longevity of product. I had taken complete Annual Maintenance Contract(AMC) from Jay Sales from Ahmedabad for last 2 years paying 4800 p.a. I was told that this contract covers spares and services of all types.
Now there is a problem in storage tank and water tap, which they claim is out of AMC Contract and are demanding 3000 to replacement cost. Standard reply I got from that on back page of contract, its written that storage tank and tap is not covered and I should have read that. When I contact Area Sales Manager of this company with my complain, he said that he cant do any thing as this matter is between consumer and agency.
I failed to understand they why the exclusion are not written on front page and should be told at time of making sales pitch. I feel cheated for misrepresentation and concealment of facts, that after paying 15000 for machine and paying approx 5000 every year, this works out to be very costly affair for me.
I suggest buying 20 litres of cans of Bisleri / Kinley is better and cheaper option for small family.
