I purchased this product from Big Bazaar on 15th Aug’2013 after 4 years usage of local made RO. It was my biggest mistake to get attracted by TV advertisements of Kent RO and relied on the quality of this product. In last 8 months, I have to lodge 12-13 complaints for one or another reason of non functioning of the RO system. Even twice mechanic replaced choke and once replaced few more parts. Today afternoon even I shelled out INR 800 for filters because these were under warranty only for 6 months. Within few hours of repair work another issue has cropped with a water fountain inside the RO system and mechanic refused to come on urgent basis to check this issue because they don’t work after 6 PM.
Not only this product sucks but also customer care and field service more worse. Customer care is so terrible that I never want to talk to them and always register a complaint through IVR system in off working hours else it would be a wastage of 10-15 minutes talking to walls on other side.
Servicing team is so good that they never bother for any monthly or quarterly servicing of the product, shows company’s philosophy of befooling people to buy it once and then forget them forever. Even when they come for any complaint solution they don’t do regular servicing. This way they never come to your premise or service any part and once first 6 months are passed they start charging you.
I am robbed by Kent RO System and not planning to invest even a single penny on it after 17th Aug’14 when one year service warranty is going to be over. My local made RO system was far better and costed me INR 17, 000 in a period of 4 years and never had to pay any money for any part since it was fully paid AMC. And also the service was in neighborhood so you can call any time. Now realizing my mistake and in the month of September once again going to buy a new RO System from same local vendor after throwing out this shitty product.
