This is my second review on Kent RO Grand Plus Water purifier which I bought in month of June 2013.Since that day I have faced some problem or the other with the Kent RO.After initial problems with service technician at Bangalore for the RO, I am back with troubles for Kent RO after not even 3 months of my last review.I called up Service Center and they came within a day and informed me that the 2 Carbon Sediment filters and UV filter has gone.
The UV Filter has a warranty of 1 year(it falls under my Warranty Period), however the 2 filters will cost me money as they are covered only for 6 months warranty.The UV filter I got replaced about 3 months back when I had initial troubles with Kent RO.I checked with other friends and family members and somehow their Kent Filters or UV Lamps dont break that often.I have a feeling that the the RO piece I have is faulty.
Even after paying for filter replacement, I do not have a confidence that it will still work fine.The UV filter is breaking so often(every 3 months) that I would need to spend a lot of this after its 1 year warranty is over.
I would request Kent to replace my piece so as I do not get into frequent troubles.

Hi, I have bought Kent Grand RO Purifier in the month of June 2013 by spending more than Rs.16000 on the product.It ran ok for first month but then started giving problem everytime when the Water Tank will not get filled up.I complained to Srinivas Aqua Sales and Service in Bangalore.Their technician just came and restarted the machine and it started working.After few days again the same problem and the technician did the same thing.We asked him to check if there is any loose connection as when he comes and shakes the machine it starts working.He said no it is all right now.A coupld of days passed and the problem started once more.First of all it takes them almost 2 days to come and have to be without water for 2 days.
This time their technician came last week and again he did the same things, replaced one part and left.We asked him to stay to confirm it is working fine but he just left without waiting.After he left, the RO again stopped working and the water tank did not fill up.We again complained and the technican came after 2 days.After insisting he checked the RO and replaced 3 parts and said it is fine now.This time also he was not willing to stay and started shouting at my wife mentioning we are wasting his time.After he left, in the evening the filter started giving beeps and then long beeps which I think mean filter life is over.It is only 3 months and our water usage is hardly 3-4 bottles a day so I am surprised how these beeps are coming.
I called him up today morning and the service center said he will not send his technician this time as its been a lot of trips.He then started abusing me and threatening me and my wife. I have written to the KENT service email id and feedback email id today morning.I have also registered a Police Complaint against the Srinivas Aqua Sales and Service whose office is in Kasanvahalli, Off Sarjapur Road.The behavior of the Service Technician(Mr Sashi) and the Service Office(I think his name is Mr Reddy) is too bad and not professional attitude.
They are not able to fix the problem and in turn harassing us. My sincere advice and request to all, PLS DO NOT BUT KENT RO WATER PURIFIER.Their After Sales Service is pathetic and the Service Technician starts abusing you.Srinivas Aqua Sales and Service is pretty bad and they shout at you.If someone wants further details, I can help them out.My email id is verma_puneet@yahoo.com.I would not even give a 1 star to KENT RO Service if you ask me.
