After using it for a year(just after the warranty expired) I was getting long infinite beep and the engineer in bangalore came and tried resetting the alarm with a ball point pen refill which didnt work and told me that the choke/microprocessor is gone and needs 935+ taxes for replacement choke unit(excluding filter change cost of 1000Rs). Luckily he didnt have the part with him and after he left, I came across a video on youtube which shows how to reset the alarm yourselves. When I pressed the reset button(grand plus model) it worked and the unit switched on. I also have a TDS meter and I checked the water level and it came to 65 ppm(was 50ppm a few months back). This means that Kent engineers and cheating its customers and spoiling the brand name. Thanks to the power of social media, I now know how to reset this button easily.
