I bought a Ken Water Filter - Pearl in May 2011. I was told that the after sales service is excellent though all over the internet the reviews for Kent’s after sales service are showing customer satisfaction as 1 over a scale of 5.
My Kent Pearl’s transformer (Kent Pearl costs rs 16, 000) stopped working on Aug 10th. Since it was a technical problem and not a regular service, I requested the company to send an engineer as soon as they can.
The engineer came after 35 hours of logging the complaint. For that period, I had to buy water from the market for cooking and drinking purposes. When the engineer came and checked the filter he said its transformer has gone bad. He had to replace it. And now its light indicators are also not working. I am wondering about the product quality now. Is Kent selling quality products or are they just fooling the customers.
I was using Aquaguard for almost 10 years before I switched over to Kent. And I can tell from my experience that Aquaguard engineers are extremely friendly, easily approachable, turn around time is 3 hrs, and the product has exactly the same (and in some variants, even better) features as Kent! Request you to think before you buy Kent!!! Endorsement by Hema Malini or Amitabh Bachchan may not help if you want to use the product for 2/ 3 years.
