I have purchased Kent Perl Filter two months back.
From the Second week itself I was getting a brown sediment in the filter every two weeks. After trying (another two weeks) very hard, I got the Kent service to come to my house.
They said that this is not sediment, but "Brown Algae"
If my filter gets sunlight, then brown algae will be formed.
Reduced the TDS of the water to 17 which is extremely low and harmful for health.
They also mentioned to clean the filter every week!
Upon searching the net I found that the algae issue is not supposed to happen for RO water filter and it is caused by high levels of Phosphates & Nitrates.
What should I do!
