When to buy RO system?- only when TDS is high . maybe above 500.RO is reverse osmosis. TDS is total dissolved salts. This should neither be high nor low. NEVER let them set the TDS below maybe 60. This is a personal choice. I don’t mind our tap water which has TDS of 182.

If TDS is good value u need only UV technology. This usually comes with sedimentation and activated carbon.Calling service means they will sell new filters which may or may not be needed.
The more number of filter mechanisms means more service. But sales guy will tell u to buy more filtration techniques.Check online for water purifiers which are directly from manufacturers. if u can get somebody or plumber to install.Eureka Forbes manufactures products that are incompatible with others . so u have to depend on them. They are TOO smart.
Very important - Sometimes service guys block the filter to stop water and then ask u to buy new filter.
Water purifier companies run on money from service.
A filter worth 300 will be sold to u at 2000
