We bought Kent Pearl filter for Rs. 16, 000/- from the Unilet store in Indiranager, Bangalore nine months ago and have spent an additional Rs. 2000/- on repairs and replacing the filters. Additionally we have spent Rs. 4000/- on water cans purchased when the unit is out of order. In total we have spent Rs. 22000 in the last nine months. Even today the unit is out of order. We have lodged several service requests with the Kent service center with half-baked, insincere tinkering with the unit by the ill-trained, greedy technicians.
The filter is a useless appliance and better to consider other trustworthy brands. The filter worked fine for a couple of months after which we started getting filtered water that smelt horrible. Sometimes the filter just stops working. We registered service requests at the numbers given at the time of installation. The response is to be experienced to be believed. They truly consider the customer to be a fool. At least a 50 follow-up calls have to be made for a technician turn up at your door to fleece you more. Every technician who turns up, diagnoses the same problem differently and want only to replace filters that are out of warranty.
We have suffered a lot of agony and request all other buyers to steer clear of Kent. The service personnel at Kent we tried to reach out before posting the review are Service provider Anjan Reddy and Senior Manager Mangesh Kumar. Absolutely no response, in fact we were threatened with no redressal if we complained again.
We are fed up of the unit which is an utter waste of money.
