Purchased Kent Grand Plus Ro model exactly last year. I didnt pay much attention to its maintenance cost while buying. Which is the exact mistake that I did.
It has 3 filters
Membrane filter- 2500 Rs
Sediment filter- 400 Rs
Carbon filter- 400 rs
Total- 3300
Which as per the manual has to be replaced every twelve months. The service technician added one more part called choke is blocked too and it must be replaced. He gave me a total bill of 4550 Rs including service charge.
Their spare parts are too costly and many of my friends RO s filters fail with in 6 months or some parts fail and the technician says its because of voltage fluctuation
its ultimately an expensive system to maintain in the long run. choose wisely. I feel now I could have bought regular canned water.
