Kerala the ?GODS OWN COUNTRY? it really means that. Kerala is one of the beautiful states in India. Kerala is famous for it coconut lagoons, rivers, back waters, green mountains, beaches, culture and the hospitality of the peoples. The name ?Kerala? is derived from ?Kera? which means coconut.
As every one knows Triuvananthapuram is the capital of Kerala and its not only famous for that, Thiruvananthapuram was also the ancient capital of ?Thirukochi? (state before the present state was formed). The main cities of Kerala are Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, and Kozhikod. Kochi is said to be the queen of Arabian Sea.
The main attractions in Kerala are the snake boat race, backwater ride, the food (especially when its Onam). The main tourist attractions in Kerala are :
