I have always loved Rajasthani cuisine and whenever I get the chance, I go to such joints for elaborate lunches and dinners. I recently went to this place which has opened up in the vicinity and is pretty new for me.

The moment I entered I was left spell bound by the amazing interiors and the positive atmosphere.

The walls are decorated with Rajasthani paintings and frames and makes the place look really royal and elegant. We were shown to a table and it was nice little corner. The plates, bowls and glasses were already laid on the table. The cutlery was German silver and looked really rich and gave a nice ethnic touch to our meal.

The moment we were seating a man with a portable hand wash came to our table and I was surprised to know that it was nice hot water.

One after the other, the serves kept coming and filling our plates with delicious food. From small samosas to sabzis, everything was filled pretty quickly. I loved the samosas with the sweet chutney, the moong dal ki sabzi, the bhindi and the paneer and potato sabzi. The special sweet of the day was Sitaphal Basundi and Strawberry sheera, which tasted heavenly. The jowar ki roti and puris tasted delicious with the sabzis.

I had to pick one out of two- dal-rice or Bajre ki khichdi. I opted for Khichdi and it was pretty good, the waiter put a long stream of ghee into my khichdi and it make it a little buttery, but pretty tasty. I enjoyed my meal thoroughly. I highly recommend this restaurant for its authentic Rajasthani fare.
