On special occasion, I land at this place with my family to enjoy a scrumptious vegetarian Lunch or dinner. On special days, there is a different menu here and the food is awesome! That is not to say that it isnt good on other days, which it is.
I went here on one such occasion and I distinctly remember the amazing food served here. From washing hands in the beginning to the end, it is always a wonderful experience eating here. The best thing is the plates they use are German Silver and look very majestic and beautiful.
You feel like a Rajasthani royal eating out of these plates. They begin with buttermilk and then come one after the other, like waves and hit you with the most amazing dishes they churn out!
I have had their daal-baati churma, Dhokla, farsan, meethi roti, bajra roti, paneer ki sabzi, gatte ki sabzi, angoori basundi, chickoo halwa, khichdi and even their pan. All the dishes taste excellent and transport you to the rural areas of Rajasthan. The daal-baati churma tasted very authentic and delectable.
The chickoo halwa was unique and tasty. The same can be said about the khichdi with loads of ghee. I love the special days I have to eat veg, because I know I will be eating a scrumptious meal here, at Kesariya.
5/5 to the place.
