Ketki is one of the oldest restaurants in Panvel. It is just located near buy Bus stand.
It is a Pure vegetarian restaurant and I have been visiting this place since I was a child.
Food: It is delicious. They serve a Mango chutney along with the food, which steals the show for me every time. It is sweet sour salty and very very tasty. The food is scrumptious. The portions served are well in quantity. Also, they have this amazing thali, one of which is punjabi thali, it is very delicious and mouth watering, that is a must try. They serve 4 veggies, 1 Butter milk, ! jaljeera, Dahi, Sweet, Dal, Pulao, 2 Rotis and a Papad in that thali. Easily can fill one’s tummy.
Ambience: The restaurant consists of Ground floor and first floor. The ground floor is Non AC section and first floor obviously is the AC section. The ambience is not much good here. Its just okayish. The space is limited, dim lights are present, nothing extra ordinary.
Reservations are not necessary. You can visit anytime, just on weekends you might have to wait for sometime.
Music: As far as I remember, they do not play any music at the restaurant.
In total, It’s a pocket friendly, pure veg restaurant and vegetarian people should give it a must try, if in Panvel.
