KFC is a real legacy of good food. I am very fond of this special chicken meal and by going through recent reviews on this , I found there are many people like me ! It is my pleasure to share my thoughts on this fabulous food !
KFC Corporation is based in Louisville , Kentucky the world’s most popular chicken restaurant chain. Last year my husband had the opportunity to visit that place on one of his official tours.
It seems , everyday around eight million customers are served KFC menu everywhere in the world . Their menu includes Original recipe chicken made with the same great taste , created by Colonel Harland Sanders more than half century ago. They also reach out to customers with home delivery.
I heard that in few U.S. cities , they are also teaming up with other popular restaurants like Taco Bell and Pizza Hut.
KFC meals are real hit in the middle east . There are lots of KFC restaurants in Saudi Arabia. Along with the Saudi crowd , you can see people from all over the world lined up to get KFC meals. We used to order for take away pac , which we enjoyed at the convenience of our home . For a big bucket of family meal with 9 chicken pieces cost us 30 riyals.
When it comes to KFC , we always enjoyed the original recipe chicken , the only place where you can find Colonel Harland Sander’s Original chicken. It tasted better and was spicy , very much suited to our Indian palate. Crispy chicken is also good. Now they have Extra crispy chicken and Colonel’s Crispy strip chicken too! They also have burgers with chicken and fresh vegetables .
KFC’s original recipe is still a secret , except for some people who have signed strict confidentiality contracts .Seems like a multi-million dollar recipe ! ( I have tried many times at home , mixing various spices and herbs to see if I can get atleast a little bit of KFC taste . Hmmm ....So far I haven’t been successful !)
I am sure there must be restaurant branches of KFC in India . If so, the price of KFC meals also must be very high ! As long as the taste is good , I think you all must give a try atleast for once in a blue moon ! It will be a welcome change from your routine meals as well.
In our household , any special day is KFC day for us. Ofcourse , I prepare my own special delicacies like briyani , fried chicken and other stuff at home , but we make it a point to celebrate the day with KFC. Now that my husband’s birthday is approaching near, I have already alerted him regarding the KFC treat for the day !
We have lots of KFC restaurant chains here in Canada. Along with the chicken pieces of your choice , (original/crispy) you also get a small pac of coleslaw , mashed potatoes and a soft drink . We prefer to buy the family pac , which comes in a big bucket containing 10 pieces of KFC chicken. Pricewise also, it is economical. It costs 12.99 Canadian dollars.
What I feel is, it is a nice experience to enjoy KFC , atleast once in a while . As the price is high , you cannot have it more often. Healthwise too , it is not advisable to have it more often. KFC no doubt is a fatty meal ! But , you cannot be counting your calories all the time ! Go ahead and try this great taste of chicken , which you can get only in KFC !
