I love Kentucky Fried Chicken. I always have and I always will. The chicken comes in a wide variety, including skinless for those of us that don’t like chicken skin. There’s extra tasty, extra crispy, extra tasty crispy, spicy, and the original. There are also varieties other than parts of the chicken, such as sandwiches, biscuits and wrappers.
The sides are THE BEST!! Coleslaw, seasoned mashed potatoes with gravy, fried okra, buttered corn on the cob, stewed tomatoes and macaroni and cheese to name a few. My favorites are the Coleslaw and mashed potatoes.
And, don’t get me started on the biscuits! Hot and flaky biscuits come with EVERY chicken dinner. They reheat really well the next morning, too, so you can have them for breakfast with some strawberry jam. Yummy!
The price is fantastic, too. You can get a bucket of chicken family meal for under $20.
Even better: Some locations even deliver!!! I was stoked to find out that the Palmdale, CA branch would deliver dinner to my home. Believe my, I thought I hit the jackpot! Tasty, inexpensive and convenient! Who can beat that?
The restaurant atmosphere itself is that of any other fast food restaurant. I don’t particulairly like eating there, because I’d prefer to eat a home-style meal in the coziness of my own home.
KFC welcomes all types of crowds. It’s very kid-friendly, too.
My only complaint is that the chicken can be very greasy. But, it tastes SOOOO good... A treat once in a while wouldn’t hurt. Besides, it makes for excellent left-overs, too!
