I watched this movie almost one year back in trivendram where I had to take the training sessions. Still I remember this movie very clearly. Actually I don’t know tamil but I can understand it very nicely. As we had to stay in trivendram and as we cannot see telugu cinemas over there we used to go to tamil movies only and luckily I watched this movie. Though there is some violence in the movie on the whole I can say its really good.
Story
Theme in the story is really very good. It just narrates the story about a sincere police officer in this pollutionised society. I dont know how the usual tamil movie starts with. But the way this movie started is also good. Hero felling down into the river and his mind/heart revealing the past life is kind of different start I can say. Then the way a sincere police thinks and the reason first hero rejecting the heroin is really practical. Here I am talking about very sincere and dedicated police officer. Then again commiting with her explains that even a police officer will be having a heart to love. Even this movie explains clearly what kind of situations he had to face if he is doing job such sincerely.
Casting
Surya and Jyothika acted as hero and heroin in this movie. Surya suited very best for this role and even Jyothika is good. Surya with nice body, I mean to say with all the strong muscles he perfectly fitted exactly to the role. He is totally different with his other roles I hope like pithamagan etc.. Jyothika though she looks somewhat plump but she did her best for this movie. When she comes to meet surya then he asks whom do you want or something, sorry iam not getting the exact dialogue. then the way jyothika answers ’’ I don’t know anyon else over here’’ is very nice. Even the roles of his friends did in a best manner.
Direction
Director Gautham did rally a good job and he might have done great background work behind. He really presented us such a nice movie.
Music
Excellent. I have no other words to explain. really superb. The first song is really good and the song which comes while surya and jyothika were going in a jeep is ultimate. Good lyrics .
On the whole everyone did a great job in this movie and I hope everyone liked this movie. BUt only thing we people(andhraites) didn’t like is ending. In the end heroin dies. That made us feel bad. I don ’t know why most of the tamil movies ends in such a way. And Gautham should have reduced a bit of violence in this. Some scenes like hero friend killing himself after seeing his wife’s head seperated made my eyes wet.
Anyway a nice practical movie
