To make a Hindi Movie an ’’all India hit’’ is no easy task, Santoshi achieves that.

Story - A team of policemen(Akshay, Tussar and 2 constables), lead by an officer (Amitabh)who wants to prove to himself his worth, takes the challenge to bring an alleged ISI terrorist (Atul Kulkarni) from Chandangarh to Mumbai , a mission which was total failure with heavy casualty to the team who tried before them.
Story unfolds with revelation of villians within Police Force and outside, who dont want the mission to succeed. In the end its ’’Satyamev Jayte’’ with some lives lost.
The movie boasts of surprises across the 3 hours duration.
Cop movies are the easiest way to comment on the corruption and system, what makes this movie different is it refrains itself from any kind of blind outburst.
Performance - Amitabh gets a tailor made role to display his skills, he lifts the movie to a different level by his acting display.The movie belongs totally to amitabh.
Akshay has finally acheived the perfect comic timing, he is totally in control this time, a step ahead of his Hera Pheri stuff. Way to go.
Tussar - He is subtle but conveys a lot, get the claps from audience at the end, when the credits roll.If one is sincere, it shows on the screen.
Devgan - Gives gravity and a bit of novality to a role which has nothing new to offer.I dint find anything great in him, this time around.

Songs - Songs are hinderance in the narration of the story but are cool.The graphics used in songs could be avoided, its tacky...
Santoshi ensure’s that audience can read the mind of the characters on display and thatz where he scores.
Some of the scenes totally stand out and make it above a run of the mill cop movie.
The opening scene is to watch for.
Go and watch it for Bachhan, after all its a Santoshi’s way of telling people, what Amitabh is capable of.
