I have been coming to matheran since college days but this time it was different. I came across this restaurant called Hookahs n Tikkas which is a class apart. Apart from the delicious delicacies and city like lounge ambience , one also gets to hear some good buddha bar music. You feel like uve got best of both the worlds that is you get to lounge while sitting in the lap of nature.The restaurant service is excellent and the staff is well behaved and decent.
The restaurant is divided in 3 sections. Parkview, Hookahs n Tikkas n Spice garden - the getaway lounge. Food is good in all the 3 sections but Spice Garden is a bit expensive as it gives the best ambience and feel amongst all the 3 restaurants. Even the range and variety of dishes is vast , the best dishes being the moghlai and grilled ones. Also dont forget to taste khans famous Biryani made from their own secret recipe. You can also try some very well made mocktails (actually even I was a bit surprised that I got to have good mocktails in Matheran). Last but not the least .....how can u miss the hookahs to go with ur food ....so...just sit back...relax n lounge with ur hookahs n buddha bar music at Khans.
