While watching the movie, I was wondering that if I would have been Sachin Tichkulae, it would have taken an iron will for me to keep moving. Sachin Tichkulae is a man who is battered by his hard luck and has a big family in which every member, apart from his sister believes that he is a curse for the family. But Tichkulae, I mean Sachin Tichkulae, has his spirits on cloud no. 9. He is in debts upto his neck but he still believes that his time to become a famous contractor will be here anytime soon. There are plenty of members in his family who are evil and can go to any extent for wraping up any complicated situation, even if it is at the cost of innocent peoples lives. Sachin on the other hand, believes in doing things in a lesser bad way. It is this thinking of his that makes him face a very tough time. He looses his love when he used to fight for Injustice, but when he realises that crookedness is the need of the hour for survival in todays world, luck is what goes missing in his life.
Apart from the struggle against hardluck, another hard reality that this film shows is the importance of money. Sachin is unable to fulfill his sisters will of not marrying a corrupt politician just because he has no money. As his father rightly says-" Jinkae paas paisa nahi hota, woh NASIHATEIN nahi dete". How true that is in todays era.
Well, serious stuff apart, the film has been very well made and presented. Though Akshays role is a bit loud at times, he manages to make people laugh with his signature style of comedy. A must see for the entire family. Trisha doesnt have much of a role, but she is looking absolutely stunning in the traditional outfit. Lots of messages to be take home from it! So enjoy!
