I really think that this place is really over hyped . I live here in Sarojini Nagar but I don’t think I ever go to this place if I want to buy something. First, this place is expensive and the taste is not so good according to the price and then you have a lot of shops nearby which are cheaper than this and tastes much better. People who come to market and don’t know about other shops usually goes to this shop and just because it is in the prime location I think the prices are high. I will prefer you to go to Mahendra Sweets if you want to eat something like Gol gappa, pav bhaji. If you want to have a proper dinner then I think you can probably go to Haldirams in the DLF mall which is expensive but the taste is good. One thing is that if you go to Mahendra Sweets they don’t have seating like Khatta Meetha, there are some benches on which you can eat.
I personally don’t like this shop but every person have different perceptions so you can try it out.
I tried pav bhaji from this place for Rs.70 and after that I tried pav bhaji from Mahendra Sweets which came for Rs.50 or 60 and the later was much better. If you want to have dinner then it may turn out to be a good place for you.
