The Khayang Waterfall is the biggest waterfall in Manipur near the Indo-Myanmar border which I explored in August’2007 during my holiday trip at my uncle’s house where I enjoyed this waterfall with my cousin sister and her college friends. This waterfall is also called as Telly waterfalls. The natural beauty is simply spell bounding. This place is really blessed with thick deciduous vegetation which displays a rich collection of flora and fauna with their aroma and appearance.
The dense foliage and the thickly vegetated slopes of the hills surrounding the place are saturated within the desperate glory emitted by the wilderness. But some trekking is required through the hills because of its location. But please avoid the bushy green areas with steep rocks because of its unpredictable passage. You can spend your entire day here as a picnic with your family and enjoy the natural scenic beauty. There is not much rush because it is yet to be explored as a beautiful waterfall as a tourism in this part of India. The best time to explore this beauty is monsoon type but please do not forget to carry camera with you to capture not only the scenic beauty but also the memories of life.
