Kushi surprisingly Brings some ''Kushi'' to you

Narasimha Enterprises “Kushi” produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by SJ Suriyah stands out as it has some very interesting moments. The on-screen Chemistry of the lead pairs make the movie watchable.

The Plot

Kushi the Remake of Tamil film in same name has same old story to tell but the director- scriptwriter explores the “EGO” factor between the hero and heroine who loves each other but never expresses it in the right way.

The Cast

Fardeen Khan excels as Karan the role done by Vijay in the original Tamil Version. Fardeen has come up with an excellent performance.

Kareena has also done justice to the title role of Kushi, although in some scenes she goes overboard.

Amrish Puri, Neeraj Vorha also supports the lead pairs.

Jhony Lever is wasted with an in significant role

The Crew

Kushi is a Technically Perfect film with Good Cinematography, Background Score & Are Direction

Anu Malliks Music is good with 2 –3 Hummable Songs, Picturisation of “Hai re” stand out with lead pairs in variety costumes. “Tere Bina” has also been canned well. “Jiya mere” and “Good Morning India” has shot well.

The Story of the film has nothing new to say but what makes kushi different is the treatment.

Screenplay & dialogues are well penned except the Jhony Lever & College Seductress (Roma) Track, which was not required.

Editing is bad in Second half with 3 Songs coming in with out valid situation.

The Director

Suriyah The Director who had directed a number of Tamil films has shot Kushi Stylishly. Each Shot is a visual treat. The only minus marks for the film is The Jhony Lever track, The College Seductress Track (Aaaja Piya song) and the lengthy second half. Without these elements Kushi would have become better. The Success of film lies in the performance of lead pair Fardeen and Kareena and their on-screen chemistry.

Overall

Kushi is a glossy film with every frame having that glossy touch. The Director with his technical crew had created a love story with some interesting good moments. Kushi is a film that really belongs to Kareena and Fardeen, the fresh pair had really created magic on the screen.
