As largely percieved, it is not at all an erotically stimulating(more harshly a semi-porno) movie. Rather it touches some of the finer aspects of man-woman relationships, though in the most crudish ways (the dialogues in the beginning of the movie prompted me to leave the theatre right away). But patience paid in the end.
Story is a cliche. A guy and a girl get married in most unexciting manner under the compulsion of LOVE (though extremely unnatural). And then the girl takes care of the guy, including financial needs, for the first 2 years (the time he finishes MBA). And then he start taking care of the girl, but not for long. As she dies very soon. So the story is actually quite shallow (but then so was Lagaan).
Personally, I liked the acting of Mallika Sherawat (and when I say acting I mean acting and nothing else). She, to my immense surprise, is extremely unsexy but extremely natural. The highlight of her acting was incessant urge to act practical (though unnecesarry), even while dying. And, she has portrayed it pretty well. The movie actually brought tears in the end rather than ?????.
So the moral of the story is the things often marketed are not the real truth. To see the truth go and watch the movie yourself (take this sentence in its literal sense only).
