Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles the movie deals with conventional gender role issues which the Indian society still struggles with.Arjun Kapoor as Kabir is unlike the stereotypical belief is uninterested in making a career or being a workaholic. He has no liking of entering the rat race like every man is supposed to, he prefers to cook and take care of the house instead. Kareena Kapoor as Kia on the other hand is infatuated with her corporate career and plans to become a CEO someday.
Not only is the subject fresh but Arjun and Kareena’s pairing too looks fresh and refreshing.
The movie has its own commercial Bollywood elements of bollywoodish situations which make one surer of the fact that it will become a blockbuster at the box office. The ever gorgeous Kareena Kapoor looks beautiful and Arjun kapoor’s casting looks bang on. The story is quirky and the take on the situation of gender role reversal couldn’t be presented more interestingly.
Overall the Ki and Ka trailer looks extremely promising and looks like R.Balki is yet again ready to shake our senses with his unusual yet interesting take on human relationships. Ki and Ka wonderfully packs everything entertaining and thought worthy.
