Kicker - Solobaric 12" L5

I aint No Audiophile, so here my Experince I recently got one of these Mean Subs from America. Far far to Expensive in Bangalore. SO I thought id review it. First of all this is an amazin sub. Since its Square You get more surface area than a round one. It lives upto its name "Living Loud" N It will blow your ears off, which is why on the box it say "Adjust the volume with sense" A Solobaric is a power hungry sub. I got it running with 200W Rms In a Sealed Enclosure (Gonna Make it Ported Soon) It can put out some serious low bass. If ne one wants to buy one of these, I suggest you get abroad coz its too expensive here. If you can spend it go ahead. Make sure you get a good person to Install it but. I picked up the following 960W Rms Power Acoustic Amp Jbl 5 1/4" SEries 6 Components Kicker L5 12" Solobaric For Around 300$ From cardomain.com Let me tell ya abt a Few Incidents When I first got this sub I went to a local icecream joint (Corner House Airport Road) N Wantin to show off a bit was balrin it lets say 70% Volume n I started to set off car alarms (Some car alarms go off in the Rain too ) The same thin happend when I was in a Multilevel car park (Garuda Mall) This is a real good sub As Far as quality goes it is really clear bass. it can go real deep too. Its an SPL sub (Sound Pressure Level ) Which it sure does but it aint like those Pioneers tat when you push it higs it Makes noise but tats it Noise... I don like a sub tat jus goes boom boom I Like music. For those of you who like music n the occasional show off this is for you. In my personal Opinion. You put this single sub in a ported box with 300 or 400 Rms It will out doo 2 xplods or Pioneers Ne Day...
