This is to make people aware that KIMS, Trivandrum hospital is the worse hospital in terms of treatment, medical attendance and medical charges.
My dad who had been suffering from cardiac problem for the last 2 years and was taking medicines prescribed from a good doctor from Cosmo hospital.But suddenly his condition became worse and he advised to go for CABG surgery(Bypass) and he got admitted in SCT hospital.There he was admitted for almost 20 days and since there was no slot on surgery dates, they gave him date on 2nd august and he got discharged by hospital.
When he got discharged on 22nd, he was in a stable condition and good to come back by 2nd August.After reaching home , after 2 days, he had severe spinal pain and constipation.On 25th July, due to severe pain, we took him to KIMS, as SCT people were not admitting him, saying that it is due to Kidney problem and we should go to a nephrologist. KIMS people admitted him and we gave them all the historical data and the treatment he was being given in SCT hospital.
Due to Severe pain, they started him administering Morphine Injection and there after FENSTUD, ADRENALINE, NUPARIN, TROPINE etc.He got admitted in ICU by 4 30 in the morning , with no heart pain , but only Spinal pain and constipation.By morning 8 30, he got moved to ventilator and the doctor told me that he was having respiratory arrest. After that they took CT scan by 2 30 PM and 3 30 , doctors were telling me that my father is not getting pulse and possibly a cardiac arrest.By 4 30 they confirmed that my dad is dead.
He came with me walking , with only Spinal pain and constipation, and he died on the next day.
When the body arrived at my place, I got to see that my dad’s face is all darkened and I was able to see patches of blood from the vein near neck.Next day when the body was taken for bath, I could see that , internal bleeding was happened from head to neck.So by then I could realize that my dad died due to bleeding or haemorrhage.It happened inside the brain and that’s why my dad’s face became dark.
When I analysed the drugs given to him, MORPHINE , ADRENALINE and NUPARIN, overdose of these medicines can cause Hemorrhage to Cardiac persons.He was there in SCT hospital for 20 days and he had even worse condition and he got recovered.One day we went to KIMS, my dad came Wrapped in white clothes.
These people doesn’t know how to handle emergency conditions, and overdose killed my dad.I am sure about it.I have bills to prove that these medicines were administered.For 12 Hrs in ICU with Ventilator, CT scan and Drugs, they charged a huge amount of 35, 000/- .Money is not the matter here, but my dad died due to wrong treatment.Overdose of drugs, killed him.*
Don’t ever go to KIMS hospital, if your parents are having cardiac disease, especially when in Emergency conditions.
My recommendation is SCT hospital.Though it is a Gov hospital, you can rely on them.
