Unless you’ve been living like an ostrich for last few months, you must have heard the hoopla surrounding Kinetic’s famous acquisition of Italjets from an Italian company called Italjet Moto. Everyone has been going ga-ga about it, and talking about how they are totally groundbreaking designs that will take the world of 2 wheelers to a new level in India etc.
Well, the first of the series has just been launched. And yes, it lives up to the hype!
That in itself is rare, because we hear so much hyping regularly, of various two wheelers (case in point - TVS Apache, Honda Unicorn, Bajaj Wave) and then they seem to be like just another vehicle.
But the Blaze - that really does break new ground in design, in functionality, in styling, and everything. Its a very glamorous looking big thing with unbelievable street presence. If you see it on the road, it can almost be hypnotic. Its movements have a certain elegant grace to it; when I see it moving through city traffic, it reminds me of the way a dolphin swims through the ocean. Its a spell-binding visual.
A quick sighting is sure to leave a long-lasting impression.
Then it has the unmatched comfort of roomy, plush seats - almost like a sofa chair. Imagine you are riding around in your sofa seat! Thats how comfortable it is. Plus the convenient push button start and smooth vario (gearless transmission) and storage space (no need to backstrap your belongings) all equate to highest possible convenience. And last, but not the least, the Blaze gets a powerful, strong heart (well deserved) - with a 170cc 4 valve engine. So there is ample power at your wrist; and the performance is simply out of the world. You can sit and ride fast and comfortable all day long.
I know I am sounding almost like an auto-expert - thats bec I have been reading and test riding the Blaze. I have falled in love with it, and will book mine in the next couple of days!! Will keep you all posted.
