Once in a long time, comes a motorcycle that is truly exciting for enthusiasts. I have been searching for a performance bike for the last one year and was considering bikes like Pulsar 150/180 or Fiero, I took test rides on them, etc. Then I learnt that Kinetic GF 170 is due for launch soon and after much wheeling and dealing I managed to get a test ride. And I was BLOWN AWAY by this motorcycle’s performance.
Consider this:
It has a four valve engine. Technically advanced and unique. 2 inlet and 2 outlet valves.
It has 166cc engine, with 15 bhp of power, 15 Nm torque. That is spectacular!
It does a top speed of 120 kmph. The company told me 115 but I could easily go beyond that.
It rides and handles like a dream. No bike is as comfortable, as stable and as much of a joy to ride.
IT has so much torque in every gear, that it is truly a delight.
It has no vibrations and no noise.
The exhaust note is amazing. No bike sounds like this.
AS per overdrive magazine, the fuel efficiency figures are great. I was impressed. They got as much as 68 kmpl on highway.
The bike looks great. For those who want a more sporty look, there is the Laser variant with a quarter fairing, twin lamps, etc. Very striking looking. When I was riding the LAser, I was stopped everywhere by admirers. It was truly ego boosting!
THe pricing is so good, that I can easily afford it.
I am just waiting for this motorcycle to be launched so I can buy it and show off. I did not find a single flaw in it. I must say that everyone should check this bike out before buying a performance type motorcycle because otherwise you will surely regret it.
