Hyosung Aquila GV250-Kinetic's Believe it or not!

Well folks, time to rock n roll! Kinetic Motors have finally heard our pleas and have imported 200 models of the Aquila GV250 from Korea in collaboration with local giant Hyosung Motors. These 200 models are being sold these days exclusively in the cities of Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Calcutta, Chandigarh, Delhi, Goa and Lucknow at an ex showroom price of Rs.1, 45, 000(very expenive, is’nt it?).

The cruiser, according to its name comprises of a 250 cc mill which generates 26 bhp of power at an unending torque which enables the cruiser to attain a maximum speed of 145 kms/hr.The air/oil cooled V-twin engine(commonly seen in the Harleys)is massive and yet powerful enough to make the motorcycle cruise along confidentally at speeds of 120kms/hr. Tha bike sports the longest wheelbase of 1500 mm, than any other Indian motorcycle besides the already mentioned V-twin.

The cruiser’s brakes, both front and rear are discs, though Kinetic may give its customers a rear drum brake. Although the cruiser comes along with an electric starter only but the Kinetics may provide a kick starter to make the fully imported cruiser suit the Indian trend. The bike has two exhausts which indicates the presence of double cylinders. The sound of the bike is truly melodious, neither too violent like the bullet, nor too mild like the eliminator. After all its 250cc V-twin man! The bike also sports alloy wheels, instead of spikes. Most parts including the head/back light, handlebars, mirrors, silencers, engine has been chromed. The Aquila has a 14 litre petrol tank which adds to the styling of the Korean machine. Keeping all these features aside, lets come to business perspectives. The Aquila gives, or I should better say, would give 10-20 litres of petrol in the city as well as the highway runs, irrespective of what the dealers or the Kinetics say.Yes guys, its true. Also the pricing of the Aquila is so high that its booking has started months ago and by the time u people read my review it may be that all the aquilas would have been booked! So what r u waiting 4, just dial and book one for urself. But remember, I do not guarantee anything. One thing I forgot to tell u people that Kinetics will be providing service arrangements and spare parts(relating to Aquila, ofcourse) and it may be the case that one has to drive to Delhi to get his Aquila serviced or maintained coz the mechanics and engineers have been trained there only.Inspite of all these hassles, if u can afford it, then go for it coz none other motorcycle can hold a candle to i! Kinetic’s Believe it or not!
