This is something which looked good and operates well !!! I had a kinetic ZX ... which was giving me lots of hassles with servicing. I thought it was time got myself a new bike .... Marvel was the choice for me.
I needed something sturdy and good looking. I needed something which had enough space for my helmet and other bike accessories. I wanted a bike with a better mileage and yes better shock absorbers. Marvel fitted my description to a T. And it served my purpose well.
I got Marvel and I dont regret it... Marvel is marvellous !! I have been riding it for more than a year !! its given me a smooth ride .. and a good enough mileage within city limits !!! After two years its giving me a mileage of 30 to 35. What more do I need ?
The seat is comfortable. You will not get an ache in your derriere when you are going for long rides. In fact many of my friends have complimented me saying that this bike was very comfortable to sit on.There is also a wide space beneath your seat to keep your things...especially your helmet... very compact for a lady !!!
I had this problem with kinetic ZX... the rearview mirrors needed adjusting every now and then .. but Marvel has done away with that problem !!
I find it very convenient to maneuver this bike inspite of its size.. I guess looks can be deceptive !!! :)
I had another hassles with the ZX model where you had to take out the footrest everytime someone was seated behind you and I was liable to hurt myself with the footrest when I was taking a turn due to the footrest’s protruding structure.
Marvel has done away with this problem. It has a build in footrest where you can slide in your feet and sit comfortably. This has definitely made life easier for the rider.
The tail lights are big and it looks sleek. It does give an impression that you are riding in a car:).
As for the disadvantages .. you might find it real expensive if you have an accident... any scratch or a crack on the body .. the whole part has to be replaced and that proves to be a bit expensive !!! Thats because the body is not made of metal like Kinetic DX or ZX. But hey !! you gotta be somewhat careful when you ride this bike !!!
You might have a problem with the front fork. It vibrates a little but thats an inherent defect in this bike. I guess I got used to it and well its cool with me. If you are a stickler for perfection, you might want to check this up.
So if you are thinking about buying this baby .. just go ahead and get it !!!
This bike is like a fine wine, the older it gets the smoother it functions.
