I am the most unfortunate man who happened to by your two wheelers which made me to run into a very heavy loss. I believed in your advertisements. I have heard ladies cursing your company while waiting at the service centre.
Let me reveal my unfortunate decision taken to buy your two whealer. First I bought your Y2K scooter for the use of my wife who is a staff nurse. She disliked it and with the fear of sustaining a loss of considerable amount I decided to use it as long as it would run. I had bought it from the Chakkalappallathu motors, Kulanada, Pathanamthitta, Kerala.
Shortly the scooter developed problems such as too much carbonising in the silencer and it had to be cut off and got to be repaired only within two years after it was purchased. Being the service charges increasing everytime and also as per the advice of the dealer, I exchanged it with a Kinetic Nova 135 in july 2004.
But due to my misfortune or poor quality of your product, the Nova also happened to develop problems and on 7.11.2006, on my way back to my home from my workplace in the night it happened to suddenly broke down, and I had to leave the scooter on the wayside. My scooter had been run about 17000 kms only by this time. On the next day I had to take it on a mini truck to the service station , the Yamuna Motors at Pathanamthiitta, which was about 15kms. away.
As per the version of the service technicians the scooter broke down due to the rusting of the cylinder and piston since water entered inside it and got struck. But I cannot believe such a reason since there was no chance to enter water into the engine because I hadn’t ever run the vehicle through water.
For repairing it they had to replace the cylinder, piston, nozzle and to do the work such as crank cutting, side cutting , head valve seating etc., and the overall charges of repair was Rs.3465 +Rs.200 being the transportation charges.
Now I feel quite ashamed of me that my wife, friends and relatives are laughing at me telling that I am an imbecile and that they have intellgently bought Honda scooter.
