Buying a two wheeler today is not an easy decision to make since there are so many choices and every vehicle seems to have some pluses some minuses.
When I decided to buy a two wheeler (I already have a car but its damn inconvenient often in Mumbai crazy traffic to navigate and park etc), I looked at so many choices it almost sent me in a tizzy! After looking at motorcycles (Pulsar, Laser, Passion, Karizma etc) and scooters (activa, dio, etc) I finally selected Kinetic’s amazing wonderscooter - the Nova 135. When I took a test ride on it, it just felt so RIGHT.
I just knew I had found my own two wheeler. Also I checked mouthshut for reviews and there seemed to be lot of praise for the Nova so I decided to go for it.
Its been 1.5 months and I am absolutely thrilled to bits with my scooter. Here is why I think its ideal for everyone:
Great performance - this is a surprise actually, the amount of power and acceleration the Nova135 has is unbeatable. It is SO MUCH fun. And YES, you can beat all 100cc 4 st bikes and many of the pulsars even (Depending on rider of Pulsar though).YOu sit and you turn the throttle and its a blast from then on. definitely miles ahead of activa, the direct competition.
Great styling - I know everyone has their opinion on looks, but I ADORE the Nova’s understated elegance and fit finish. I think its the best looking scooter in India. Once again definitely miles ahead of activa, the direct competition.
Utility - its got great storage, puncture resistant tyres, small things like mobile chargepoint, underseat light etc that makes the ownership experience that much better.
Mileage - I havent measured exactly but I estimate I get about 50. In Mumbai traffic thats pretty much on par with 125cc bikes so no complaint.
Reliability - been perfectly reliable so far. the buying, servicing and general ownership experience has been very pleasant.
Price - I think its priced at a great value price of 40k odd on road. amazing.
I AM A VERY PROUD OWNER OF THE NOVA 135. VERY VERY HAPPY I SELECTED THIS TWO WHEELER OVER THE OTHER 90+ TWO WHEELER BRANDS IN THE MARKET TODAY.
