After a very bad experience with Activa for the past 2 years. I decided to buy Kinetic Nova135. I was fed up with Activa because of its mileage and frequent visit to the dealer. When I test drove kinetic nova, it was just a wonderful experience.
But I was in two minds whether to buy this or not , because Activa’s experience had let me down. But I bought it with dare and results are with me, when I bought activa in just month or so its mileage started decreasing and its service was also not good. Nova is giving me 55 to 60 now after 2 months and its service is also very good and at very low price.
Performance is a revelation - A twist of the throttle and I am off ? and I really do mean off! I surprise other scooters, cars and bikes at the lights many times, building up a healthy lead over everyone else in what seems like next to no time. There is a surprisingly large amount of fizz on tap. I?ve done top speeds of over 90 kmph where it is admirably stable. Though it?s best to ride this (or any) scooter at a speed of 70 kmph.
Apart from being a great point and squirt tool, this is a scooter that rides well and soaks all manner and sizes of potholes with aplomb
Great mileage ? in city I get 50-55 kmpl (estimated, not precise)
I love the styling with the 2-tones. I know styling is subjective,
Has a relaxed, upright riding position with plenty of leg room Does not transmit many vibes through the seat (which is broad and comfortable)
Even in fairly strong cross winds, holds its line well and stability is never an issue
Extra brownie points for the cavernous under seat storage space (helmets, veggies et al no problems), the lids that light up the storage area and the mobile charger that?s provided ? all most useful, plus easy to read meters, just the right size handgrips
This scooter put a smile on my face every time I use it, which is always the sign of a good vehicle. I think it is a close-to-ideal mix of performance and ride quality. A comfortable, quick, stable, reasonably frugal scooter for Rs. 37, 000? It?s a bargain, if you ask me. I am very thrilled with my vehicle!
This is my first review on mouthshut. I will write one more scooter review (on the Activa which I hate). Please give me any comments that are useful. I also want to thank other mouthshut members because their positive reviews of the Nova pointed me in the right direction
