Kinetic’s new scooter Nova 135 deserves to be called a Supernova. Its truly exceptional and absolutely shines over its competition. If the Activa is a star, the Nova 135 is truly worth a billion Activas!
I have been using an Activa for the past couple of years, and now I exchanged it for the new Nova 135 - the ’’Aaho’’ scooter from Kinetic. And believe me, the difference in the two is lightyears!
The Nova has much much better pick up and acceleration than the ACtiva, and its immediate - you can feel it as soon as you turn the throttle! The scooter takes off with an amazing Velocity.. plus the power delivery does not tail off much well past 80 kph (even though Kinetic says the top speed of the scooter is 75 kph, I have myself done 95 kph!! I dont know why they say its 75). On the move, it is very very refined with zero vibrations at any point. The ride quality is excellent, you cant feel any bumps at all as you blaze down the roads! Because of the power and the good tyres, the scooter feels very very stable and solid and safe.
Performance apart, there are many other praiseworthy things too - the looks are gorgeous. Two tone paints and overall generally cute. The utility is AMAZING. The underseat storage space is HUGE. Plus there is a glove compartment. The underseat storage space has auto lighting for night time illumination. There is also a mobile chargepoint but I have not used it yet. The tyres are puncture resistant.
BEST OF ALL is the mileage. Whereas the ACtiva never gave me over 30 kpl, this SUPERNOVA gives me 50 plus every time. Isn’t that amazing??? It’s because of the dual mode CDI ignition.
Overall I would say that the nova is true sensation. It makes a good amount of power, delivers it without lag or delay and will make you smile... or as the ad campaign says, make you go AAHO!!!
