I bought this scooter after lot of research in december 2005. Got all the troubles settled in 1st year. Spare tire not a good idea on this scooter, the plastic support to very strong, got it replace once. Dealer network is very good and helpful.
My scooter gives less than 40km/ltr in any driving condition. Service center has so far not been able to help. Keep blaming everything else than the scooter.
The only positive about this scooter is its looks and large under seat storage. Can store a lot of stuff with helmet, 2helmet theory is a joke. Prob can put two baby helmets.
In terms of pickup, its pretty good 0~45, after that no power left, top speed is about 65 with every bit of juice put in. I would want a better performance from a 135cc scooter. Even some mopeds can do better than that.
Hopefully kinetic would improve, this scooter certainly can’t beat Honda at the moment, buy at you own risk
About the mileage problem, I wrote to Kinetic. Thank fully they responded promptly. Company engineer has taken a look at the scooter and fixed. Hopefully the problem is resolved(will update this review of findings). Just want to update u guys, if you plan to buy this scooter, buy from a dealer. I recommend DR auto(Bangalore), very good and helpful people. Do Not buy from a reseller!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am very pleased with Kinetic Customer Care.
New: After company engineers work...milage is above 40km/lt. But performace has increased but few notches. I am happy at the moment.
