I have been using a Kinetic Nova for past 3 months. Before this I had in my family 3 Kinetic scooters (the Kinetic Honda and then 2 Y2Kinetic ZX.) My experience with all of them has been positive but I must say that the Nova is something else altogether.
What I like best about it is its ride smoothness (the variomatic transmission is flawless, the engine is smooth, noise and vibrations are nil) - the vehicle runs like a dream. Also it has very good acceleration (better than Dio or Activa but maybe less than the Kinetic Honda because those are two strokes); and adequate mileage ( 55 kmpl in normal conditions). These three things are important. What else a consumer gets from his product are bonus. In terms of Bonuses, Nova scores high because you get very stylish looks, generous seats for riding comfort, good ground clearance, and enormous storage space. I also like its fiber body (ABS plastic) though in India people have some ageold preference for metal body. FIber body looks always new, doesnt rust or dent and is easy and economical to replace a panel in case of an accident. My dealer says that all of Nova’s panels can be changed for less than 700 rs. so next year I ll change the color of the scooter! It also helps in resale value etc.
Overall, trouble free, well performing machine, good for any use. I am happy with it.
