I think I was the first few to go for a Kinetic Nova in 2002. After almost 1.5 years of driving this vehicle, my honest recommendation would be- KEEP OFF. Almost every owner I have spoken to in the last few days have admitted the following
IT SKIDS!!!!!!!!! AND HOW...You dont get a second chance with this vehicle. You are gliding slowly..say 30s or so...and you see someone..something approaching and you break...the next thing you know is that you are on the ground...The first to fall was my wife. We ridiculed her and didnt let her touch the vehicle..then my uncle...(a veteran for 25 years in 2-wheeler driving)..then my brother...an expert in 2 wheeler ...and then me thrice....Thats 6 times in 18 months..DONT BREAK IN RAIN...DONT BRAKE ON PAINTED LEVEL CROSSING
The Brakes need adjusting every now and then
The fuel guage is a namesake....doesnt work for most vehicles (at least in bangalore)
The seat is a massive let down..one brake and the pillion rider glides down and pushes you out of your seat.
The milage is pathetic...Forget the promises made at the time of selling...If you get 35 be happy.
The kick starter is gone with 2 usages...
The mirror doesnt just suit the vehicle..it protrudes outwards beyond the width of the vehicle and is highly dangerous...
THIS MACHINE IS NOT FOR WOMEN FOLK !!!!!!!!UNLESS THEY ARE 6 FT OR SO..
Well....if you are still going for it....I can only say ...I will pray for you...
