I am Abhishek from Pune and am writing my first Mouthshut Review. I bought the much talked about Kinetic SYM Flyte in the Month of April on Gudi Padwa day. Did a lot of research before buying this beauty. My options were Pleasure, Flyte and Access. My Wife is only 50 feet tall so Access was out of the Picture due to its height and weight. Also it had a long wait time. We both Test Rode a Pleasure First. We both found it good. Then we test rode a Flyte and my Wife instantly loved it. Still I was a bit hesitant to go for it because of the Kinetic Tag. But finally based on the numerous positive reviews on Mouthshut and other Forums, decided to take the Risk and bought an Oomph Red Flyte.
1] Styling & Design :- Flyte looks pretty Good if not Great. It has also been designed perfectly for Female Riders.
2] Features :- Flyte is fully loaded with many Features, the ones I find useful are front-fuelling, large under-seat storage, pro sus telescopic suspension and zapper tyres [Wonder why they missed out on Puncture Resistant Tyres]. Fuel Guage Meter is a bit dicey and unreliable, I feel.
3] Performance & Handling :- In the 50 days of its Ownership, it has been performing magnificiently. Engine is super smooth. Seating is very Comfortable. Amazing Suspension that takes care of your Back in Punes bad roads. Decent Pickup. Dont know about the Top Speed as have not gone above speed of 50 as its still to cross 1000 Kms.
4] Fuel Efficiency :- This is one aspect where it has disappointed me. Even after First Servicing, it gives a mileage of approx. 35 km/ltr. As I said, I do not find the Fuel Indicator trustworthy. Once i filled 1Ltr Petrol and rode Flyte for a long distance without stopping and it gave a mileage of 40 km/ltr. But normally when I fill 100 Rs. Petrol and when it lasts for about 3 days, the Mileage drops to 32 - 35 Kms/ltr. The Way is calculate Mileage is, notice the KM. reading when it touches the top of Red Mark, then fill Petrol and again check the KM Reading when it touches the Top of Red mark. Then check the KM. difference.
So, all in all Flyte is an Awesome Gearless Vehicle and is certainly living up to my Expectations.
So, for all those considering to buy a Gearless Bike, dont think twice, FLYTEs the Way to Gooooo.
