I have been riding a new Velocity for the last ten days and am very impressed by it. I would describe it as an eminently satisfactory motorcycle: the blend of performance, the respectable mileage, rider comfort and good looks.”
The upright riding posture is just right for the commuter, the all important handlebar-to-seat-to-footrest relationship is spot-on, and a rider will be comfortable in no time.
Both rear and front suspension setups are near-perfect. Cornering on the Velocity is a breeze. MRF Zappers are solid contributors to the bike’s handling. Attention has been lavished to detail”
Some pertinent observations:
Ø Styling - muscular but conventional, without being bulking
ØLarge fuel tank and the way the rear end with its positive curves flows out of it
ØNeat looking grab rail, sporting a cool in-built reflector
ØHalogen bulb in the headlamp
ØUnique, nice allow rear footrest mounts
ØOverall impression – chunky, sturdy bike
ØAnti-slide seat translates into good comfort
ØSwitchgear nice – integrated handle & ignition lock, levers, grips & instrumentation are the best with no compromise in quality; mirrors are improved, pass light and push cancel indicators add to the overall feel of quality
ØTank filler cap is a work of art
ØEngine unit superior, smooth and refined
ØDual mode electronically mapped CDI
ØEngine is pleasant to use and smooth, engine sound muted
ØRiding posture is just right. Comfort high
ØSuspension setups are nearly perfect. All geometry is well thought out and matched to one another, plus the double down tube frame is appreciably rigid, making the handling composed and neutral
I would not be surprised to see Kinetic’s first executive class bike lifting the company’s sales graphs, and this success would not be undeserved”
thank you!
