I want to share with you my experience about the motorcycle Kinetic Velocity so that others can benefit from it.
I bought a Velocity in December 2003. At that time, I was impressed with the motorcycle’s chunky and distinctive looks and the comfort and performance during the test ride. It is also priced very well, and has all the goodies like MRF Zapper tyres, tachometer, pass light, push button indicators etc so I thought it was a great deal.
Now I ve been using it for six-seven months and let me tell you , the motorcycle has been FANTASTIC.
I get a mileage of 70 kmpl or so regulary in city riding; and 75-80 when I am on the highway. I never got such mileage ever before. The performance, after completing 2000 kms especially has become even better. The engine is smooth and powerful with excellent pick up, and I have done a top speed of 95 kmph. I already mentioned the comfort. Let me tell you, this motorcycle sets NEW benchmarks on comfort - the seat and the suspension system together are so perfect that you never get a backache even if you ride for long hours.
there has been not even a whiff of any problem. Service has been a very smooth experience, and maintenance cost has been zero so far. Of course, the owner of any automobile must take basic care of his vehicle like check for air pressure, oil, warm up the engine in the mornings, run the motorcycle in properly, use unadulterated petrol, never ride on very little petrol in the tank, etc. What you have to do on any vehicle.
The handling and cornering is excellent. Because of the super tyres, you are always in full control of the bike.
The 113.66cc engine benefits in making use of a dual mode electronic mapped CDI. This is throttle actuated and microprocessor controlled. It allows the engine to give out its best performance, whether the rider is pressing for performance of fuel economy. This refined mill pumps out 8.4bhp at 7500rpm
