I went out to purchase TVS Scooty and MS and indiabike.com convinced me to Go for Zing i’m a guy who believes in the best of the category so I opted for the Kinetic Zing Rockin! Model, after all it is style that matters.
The Baby gives me a decent mileage of 50 and the pull of it is really good. i’ve driven the Scooty And Pep and found Zing to be the best out of those two. the reason. Scooty is now an old timer and has standard model pep has a sluggish look and Zing gives an all new look, it gives a really good look sitting on it. ive done doubles and triples with it and it roars on to 50 with 2 people on it.
the pick up is decent but scooty has an edge here, the indicator switch, head lamp switch all seem to be placed at correct positions and the horn is really loud as it drives people away. All though the rockin features which boasts of
1)Cola Can Holder - [i hold my mini 500 ml water bottle in it]
2)FM Radio Holder - [helps me to hold the radio some times]
3)Mobile Phone Charger - [not tried still]
and a normal small FM Radio which comes in market for a decent 40 Rs.
these features added Rs 1000/- to zing. the baby is excellent in performance but not maintanence free. as this is my 1st vechicle so I think that’s the way maintanence goes. some minor problem and starting trouble makes me to go to the service station. also I feel the luggage space should have been more. I would give it 9 on 10 incomparison with scooty’s 8/10 for its cost, style, performance and looks.
it is worth buying as the features are really exciting and it has an edge to scooty. i’ll recommend my girlfriend for Zing as it is also the Lightest Vehicle in its category which makes you go for a feather ride. max speed goes to 70 without engine sounding buzz. everything’s good for a school student like me who spends 150 km per week on zing.
